Submissions are now closed for the first Dorking Film Festival.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send us their masterworks! We have had an overwhelming response.
We are now going to spend the next month watching everything. Then we will argue among ourselves to try and decide which films to actually show.
Submissions now open
Submissions are now open for the first Dorking Film Festival taking place on Saturday 17 October 2015.
We are accepting short films that are 30 minutes or less in two categories: adults and juniors. All submitted films should have been completed in either 2014 or 2015 and have been made by filmmakers resident in the United Kingdom.

What’s all this about the Dorking Film Festival?
We fancy showing a few films that you might not normally see at your local multiplex. So we’re putting a film festival on in Dorking in October 2015.
If that appeals please do come along!
The plan is to show a programme of films during the afternoon and evening on Saturday 17 October during the Mole Valley Arts Alive Festival. We will be putting together the selection of films over the coming months leading up to the event.
However, the running order will include two selections of British short films: those from grown-ups and children. If you are interested in submitting a film for either of this sessions please check out the submissions page.
