The first Dorking Film Festival took place on Saturday 17 October 2015 at the Dorking Halls in Dorking. We showed historical and contemporary films with a local flavour from Dorking, Surrey and the south-east of the country. We also showed a few feature films too. We enjoyed it so much that we carried on in 2017, 2018 and 2019. You can view the full programme from the first festival here, the programme for the second festival here, the programme for the third festival here and the programme for the fourth festival here.
The fifth Dorking Film Festival was scheduled for Saturday 4 April 2020 but was cancelled due to government restrictions connected to the coronavirus outbreak. Look out for the online edition!

Hi Rob
We met last year when you did a presentation for the Dorking Business Breakfast Group but I didn’t quite get much chance to chat. Since that time I have rather settled in to my role as Chair of the DDOS & the Green Room Theatre in Dorking and I am quite interested in encouraging more local groups to use the theatre for their events. Cinema especially is something we can do more of and someone from the Radical Film Festival recently reached out to us as well.
Anyhow we have an 86 seat theatre venue behind Dorking Halls complete with club room & bar so if that may be of interest to you as a (alternate) venue for one or more showings for the Film Festival, please do give me a shout.
Cheers
Simon
