Saturday 23 March 2019 – 17:00
Venue: Dorking Halls
Director: Paul Hargreaves, UK, 1987, 59 mins.
The festival will be screening a documentary about the life of Rob Walker to tie in with the recent exhibition at the Dorking Museum and the Centenary Parade that took place in October 2018. In 1958 Walker became the first private entrant to win a world championship grand prix when his car took the chequered flag with Sterling Moss behind the wheel. This film allows Walker to tell us own story from a childhood passion for motorcars to success as a team manager.
With thanks to Paul Hargreaves
